Descriptions:
ArtRemains offers free gallery spaces for artists, scholars and activists. Members can upload music files, video files, photos, flash, etc with the requirement that they created the files. The gallery system is flexible and allows members to organize their artwork as they see fit. In addition to gallery spaces members also receive blog and list features.
This sociopolitical structure of ArtRemains is that of a democracy in that members (re)elect their representatives (Leaders) on a monthly basis. Members can also vote on suggestions and the suggestions with the most votes are ranked in the Top 100 Suggestions forums. This allows members to have a say in the direction their site takes.
