These days most industries are dominated by corporate players. The punting industry in Cambridge is no exception with one company controlling the majority of all punts in service. By contrast, The Cambridge Punt Company is a small co-operative of independent boat owners licensed directly by Cambridge City Council in 2007. Luckily our esteemed city council saw fit to break up a growing monopoly at that time. Collectively our four partners represent close to 50 years of combined experience in the provision of river tours in Cambridge.
